Has anyone heard of this company - looks like this will be available in Sept.

Here is an update on our Natural Coconut Milk and Organic Coconut Milk, in BPA Free cans with no Guar Gum.

It is being produced the week of 7/2 and will hopefully ship the week of 7/9.

The container takes 5 weeks from the time it leaves Asia to the time it reaches the United States.

Then it takes about a week to clear in the US, arrive at the warehouse and be unloaded.

It could then take another 10 days for our distributors to place and receive orders for it.

It should be available for purchase from your local store in September.

You can tell that you are purchasing the new product because the cans say “BPA Free” and “No Guar Gum” on them.

Awesome info, but you have to make it into a question if you don't want it to be deleted. – Tyler F Jul 9 at 3:01
Pretty sure the first six words are in fact a question, despite the lack of the requisite punctuation. :) – j3wcy Jul 9 at 3:05

Aroy-D makes a 100% coconut milk product that comes in an aseptic package - it seems to meet all your needs. I buy it at a local ethic food store (in Kirkwood, MO).

I usually pay about $1 a box - that site is really high, but that is the product.

Yes, I have used that brand and like it (you can buy in bulk on Amazon.com). I saw the news that they were going BPA free and am waiting to get my next shipment in the BPA free cans! Native Forest and Trader Joe's are supposed to be BPA free as well.

Does TJ even have full fat coconut milk? I've only ever seen lite versions of it. – BoneBrothFast Jul 9 at 13:55
Saw this as well importfood.com/naturalcoconutmilk.html I assume it's BPA free because it's in a carton - The ingredient statement indicates "Coconut Milk 100%. Coconut Extract 60%, Water." so can I assume there's no guar gum as well? – AgingHippie Jul 9 at 23:58

That's great news. I know the brand name, but did not know they sold coconut milk.

Chris Kresser posted a blog about guar gum and BPA with coconut milk products a while back. Nearly incited a riot (as seen in the comments section).
