I also ordered online (iherb most of the times) because I couldn't find extra-virgin coconut oil in a BPA-free container in my area (Quebec).

If you don't mind the risk go to new direction aromatics (online) Cosmetic grade, but if you get the organic then it's probably no different. Great price!

Don't hesitate to buy online, I was always buying the $7-$9 spectrum for a pound. But when you are buying the same product for $4-$5 a pound, it is so much more worth it.

Nutiva is the best brand I've found in Canada, relative to the price and quality. Most large grocery stores carry it (the Loblaw chains, Sobeys too), if you live in a large city, most stores in ethnic areas will carry it for the cheapest prices.

Or... in case you live in the sticks (like me).... well.ca Free shipping too!

I do bulk orders from iherb (52 oz nutiva)-- ships incredibly fast, the price can't be beat... keep in mind there are duties, but it is still cheaper than my local sources.

	Same here, but I recently found out from an iherb employee that, if you use the interntional airmail method, there is a high chance/almost for sure that you will pay no additional charges(duties/customs) except the normal shipping fee. The only draw back is, it will take longer to get here. – Soul Jul 11 at 3:07
	The "duties" you describe are nothing more than exorbitant fees for customs clearance -- these products are all duty free, the most you have to pay is GST/HST. Ask the shipper to send the package USPS International Priority, and the problem disappears. – Stephen Jul 14 at 14:42

Grocery stores sell them now. Loblaws etc. Same brand I was getting from the Healthfood store which is always more expensive.

I am in Edmonton too and I buy mine at Planet Organic, quality is good. I have not tried it from any other place yet.

Yea they have that stuff in the yellow bottle (sorry can't remember the name) it is really good. The price is decent as well. That new organic place that opened up on Whyte just east of the tracks has a pretty good selection I noticed as well. – Thrak Jul 10 at 18:17

I know here in Edmonton they have a great selection at the Italian Market. Not sure if you have something like that where you are. The only other place I have even really noticed coconut oil is at organic markets.
