I usually eat 4 a day, but my record for one day is 24. I didn't plan it. I literally had no other food in the house, and didn't feel like shopping. 12 scrambled eggs for breakfast. No lunch. 12 scrambled eggs for dinner.

It was great day.

My "record" is almost exactly the same +1 – SlimIcy Mar 19 at 18:49

I ate 7 one day. Then I got allergic, after having a high egg consumption for ~two weeks... Now I eat no eggs :(

I thought about doing this one day. Eating only eggs for an entire day. I love them cooked in coconut oil or par-boiled so that the yolk is still runny. If I was just to eat straight eggs, it would probably be just hard boiled with some spices. I thought about it and figured I could probably do 30-40 over the course of a day.

I've often boasted I could do a 60-egg challenge in a huge omelet. People have doubted me but I honestly think I could. Not sure my body would agree but who knows.

Wow, you definitely have me beat. Most I've ever had in a day is 7. (three for lunch, three with dinner and one in a smoothie in the morning)

24...6 at a time, 4 times a day...4 of those were just yolks but I wanted the whites for...um...colour I guess?

This was a while ago now, but I wanted to do my own experiment on how eggs made me feel, after about 2 months of this I felt great...energy was where I wanted it to be and the convenience was very welcomed, the end result...I got sick of eating eggs and didn't touch them again for a couple months and ate some fattier meats, now I stick too maybe 6 eggs a day and pair them with yams fried in pork steak fat....I can NEVER see me getting tired of that.

Last month I had 12 in a day = 24 deviled eggs. I threw up.

I can't make deviled eggs very often because I WILL eat them beyond feeling full because they are so damn good. Definitely an example of too much of a good thing! – MathGirl72 Jul 13 at 19:48
Agreed. I don't know what it is about deviled eggs but there is no satiation. Will eat till vomiting. <3 Easter, Thanksgiving, & Christmas! – Sleepyhouse22 Jul 13 at 20:02

I once ate a dozen raw eggs a day for three days straight. It was the only thing I wanted during a seriously awful stomach flu, and I felt absolutely awesome again by day four.

I have had a carton in a day.

If I was anything like Paul Newman though, I could eat more.

When I was on GAPS, it wasn't uncommon for me to go through a whole carton in a day.

I think the most I've had is 9.

I love quiche and I use 6 eggs when I usually make it in an 8-inch pan. That, plus breakfast where I use anywhere between 2 and 3.
