I've been thinking about supplementing with CLO for a while now, mainly because I have some skin issues.

I'm visiting Oslo pretty soon, so I wonder if some of the Norwegians can give me a tip where to buy quality CLO?

I wish I could give Green Pasture a try, but the shipping costs to Europe are ridiulous. Or is this butter oil blend really worth it? Has someone had good experiences with that when it comes to acne?

Go to the Barents sea, catch a large cod, cut out it's liver and extract the oil yourself. Than say something Norwegian like "Alt har ein ende, så nær som pølsa: Ho har to". – Mscott Jul 16 at 9:50

Møller's tran is the most commonly used brand in Norway. It's known to be of high quality.

It can be found in nearly every retail store, and cost approx. 90 kr (15 USD).

The issue, at least from the Green Pastures perspective, is that All of the Norway Cod Liver Oil factories use the same industrial techniques, including heating the oil, and usually extracting the natural vitamins, and adding in the synthetic vitamins. Besides Green Pastures, there are no other cod liver oil manufacturers that are using the traditional fermented techniques.

Why not eat the cod livers while you are over there? :) We can only get them canned in the States, and a lot of people eat those.

Can anyone tell me all the COD Liver oil manufacturing companies? I want to buy the oil and not the capsules, apart from Lysi I need to know about other manfuacturers
