Maybe I'm phrasing this wrong; but I was suggested looking into FODMAP restrictions (/chart) in response to my question about toning my belly (they suggested it was a gut issue). Thing is, I had more digestive issues before paleo, but post-paleo I cannot really recall these digestive issues since, and since most people who play w FODMAP due it BECAUSE of these issues, I was wondering if anyone tried it out of curiosity, and what did they find?

I'm not sure I understand your question. I would think you would be able to tell whether your tummy is not flat because of intestinal gas or because of excess fat. If it's gas, then yes going low-FODMAP should help. I am a major bloater so I eat low-FODMAP and I also try to avoid swallowing air as well (by not chewing gum, drinking from water bottes, slurping hot liquids, sipping through straws etc, eating too fast, etc). |
