I am a total Game of Thrones (Song of Ice and Fire) geek. After watching seasons 1 and 2 on HBO I read all 5 books in a one month marathon. It is amazing.

As readers of George R. R. Martin know, he goes into painstaking detail in regards to the rich foods served in the books.

There is now a cookbook called A Feast of Ice and Fire. It is both pretty and pretty Paleo.

Who wants to eat like our Westerosi ancestors?

Me me! I want to! Are you hosting an Ice & Fire dinner party? I'll come, I live close by! – Chinaeskimo Jul 19 at 2:44

Party at Dans! Be mindful not to swallow the parchment letter when you eat crow. One thing I did today for my client is add mint into ice cube trays before freezing. So refreshing. – ThinnerStrength Jul 19 at 2:54

I can't believe you read all these in a month. It took me practically a month for each one! Although I have 3 smallish children, and they interrupt me a lot. The cookbook sounds fun. – Joni Jul 19 at 14:20
I can't believe I finished them all either. With my ADD I "read" audiobooks. So it may not be as impressive. I am a non-fiction fiend. And until this I have read no fiction books since required reading in HS/College. There is truth to be learned in fiction, just as Bran learned "the only time a man can be brave is when he is scared." The narrator, Roy Dotrice is masterful and he is listed in the Guiness book for most characters portrayed in one audiobook series--- a total of 224 different voices! – ThinnerStrength Jul 19 at 15:18

Are Dragons Paleo?

Of course...Dragon jerky is unlike anything else ever tasted in all the 7 Kingdoms...it is known.

Truth.

I think according to Tyrion it would be the old standby of hookers, alcohol, and cocaine. I don't think you really need a cookbook for that though. Unless you want meth. Then it could be the Breaking Bad cookbook. Baking Bad. You get it? Baking? Yes.

Any Dothraki cuisine in there? If that's the case I am so in.

If it's written in the narrative of Bronn, I'm all over it.

It is a staple to keep warm over the long winter, which as you know, is coming.

Love this! I haven't read the books yet (because I have two small children), but I have seen both seasons of the show. I would totally check out a cookbook, that wouldn't require as much focus as the books. Although, I plan to read them someday.
