Turmeric is an excellent spice with many natural health benefits. We use it regularly in stews, curries and on vegetables.

I just found a new use for it, lately. I mixed turmeric with apple cider vinegar, red pepper flakes, garlic, and salt to make a brine for making pickles. They were delicious!

I put it in scrambled eggs.

Also make a drink of warm coconut cream, stevia, and turmeric.

Always add a little black pepper with turmeric. It increases intestinal absorbtion rate 1000 fold.

I put 95% organic turmeric and 5% organic black pepper into empty gelatin capsules myself and take 3-4 a day. My muscle aches remind me when I forget to take it.

Very true - without the pepperine (in pepper), most of the turmeric just passes through... Hardly any uptake of nutrients. – erkan Jul 21 at 20:00

I know you asked for suggestions on what do with turmeric, but this website is my favorite for referencing herbs http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/learn/turmeric_root.php Search any herb. Its wonderful.
