I've been paleoing for 5 weeks

I continue to take my iron pill as I am anaemic anyway

I also take Ginkgo Biloba and my memory/concentration is sharper with it

I bought Acai berry supplements a while ago, I think they are for energy but can't remember - not sure I need them now

I also take a multi vitamin as I don't eat dairy

In fact I eat meat, poultry, veg, salads, nuts. That's it

Should I be taking anything else?Or is what I take already too much?

I don't think the acai berries are anything special, but everything else looks good. Maybe add in a few brazil nuts a day for selenium. Also do you eat liver or anything for those special nutrients? Some people recommend taking iodine, but I don't think it's necessary as most salt today is iodized. So just make sure you add it to your foods.

Oh last note! Take 1 tsp of cod liver oil a day. It makes sure you get omega-3s, vitamin D, and vitamin A. I always take that to balance my O-6, o-3 ratio and it also is an oil so not popping anymore pills.

Once I went paleo I needed less supplements, but most folks need a high quality anti-aging/genetic supplement like Phyto-multi from Metagenics. Get confirmation that you don't need the iron pill. If you still need it make sure it is a bio-available form. Omega's mentioned above are good to include. so far you are doing allright.

I take a GNC Sport Pak every morning. I find that the vitamin boost really helps me keep my energy levels pretty steady thoughout the day. Since eating Paleo (for one month) I really have not tried going without. Ultimately I like the fact that I am drinking less coffee than I was before (for energy).
