Does anyone here use coconut oil or butter? I've been using coconut "butter" where the big difference is that they heated it up to get rid of most of the smell and taste as the intended use for it is cooking. I've been eating a lot of it along with a ketogenic diet and it seems to give me an intense energy boost.
Is there anything pointing towards dangers of the fats being cooked/heated? They did manage to reduce the smell and taste of the coconut significantly, so I don't know how hot they must have heated it.
The cold pressed coconut oil is extremely expensive here in Europe. The butter is much cheaper.
