Dr. Michael Fox of Florida says yes - in 90% of cases. Has anyone here resolved their PCOS this way? Interesting video interview: http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DI0WOqaTTzaI%26feature%3Dautoshare&feature=autoshare&v=I0WOqaTTzaI&gl=US

Two babies later, each one conceived after about 8 months back on my plan of high fat paleo (and not conceiving in the years when I didn't eat that way without birth control), I would say yes. |

I'm still waiting... My husband and I have been trying for a baby since August 2011 when I came off the pill. By summer 2012 I started paleo as I'd heard good things and while I feel generally better, stronger, have better skin, and have lost weight (I was never even overweight in the first place!), I still only have a period every 4-6 months and we're now on a waiting list to have IVF with the NHS - I don't know the exact figures but I've had various scans and tests to show I have PCOS and my hormones just don't work right. Also one of the x-rays I've had suggested I have a heart-shaped uterus, or possibly even 2 uteruses, which the doctor tells me can cause complications if I do actually get pregnant. I'm booked for a laparoscopy in July to see whats going on in there. I'm starting to think nature is hinting to me not to bother having kids, but its such a depressing thought - sometimes I honestly wonder what other point there is in life :( So I keep on eating the paleo food and hoping for the best :) |
