Now , sometimes , I forget to have IBS! Ibs for me is just an inflammation of years and years , which just take a lot , but fixed it totally for me it's possible!
YOU HAVE TO HELP ME PLEASE When I avoided all that carbos (pizza, pasta and sugars) i started to eat A LOT of dark chocolate per day.. is a nestle' dark chocolate without lactose..but it's..sweet! it doesn't really look like "dark" at all.
The problem is that I have to eat it every day because I feel that my brain want it , and if i do not eat it , I reallt feel the simptomps that nicotina gives you.. THE SAME! so I have to go to the market for buy it.
But now I have decide of avoid it , but it was my breakfast , so now , what can I eat for breakfast?! I can't eat tollerate eggs..I can't eat sugars, legumes, milk and cereals... and I wouldn't eat meat also for breakfast..Because I would eat too much meat.. cause I eat it everyday on luch...
Soo.. any ideas? thank you all paleohacks is great
Switch to a better brand, maybe Lindt - at least 85%.. If you can, switch to a higher percentage of cocoa. I'm doing 100% baking chocolate now. Very bitter, and hard to eat a lot of it.
It's very easy to eat the low cocoa chocolates as they contain mostly sugar and milk. You're addicted alright, but it's not to the chocolate - it's the sugar.
Breakfast is easy: have some bacon and eggs. Or a steak. Or some fish.
If you're eating "A LOT!" of nestle's chocolate, you have not eliminated sugar. Nestle's is a cesspool of sugar, crappy quality chocolate, and milk.
Eating chocolate for breakfast sounds like a very unsatisfying meal. You are probably eating so much of it because your body wants fat to get energized, but instead goes into a sugar comatose.
How much meat do you count as "a lot"? Eating meat for lunch does not usually equate to "a lot". I usually eat leftovers for breakfast, which consists of meat and vegetables.
A breakfast with some paleo granola and coconut milk might work if you're determined to not eat meat.
I have a few breakfast suggestions. The first one is a fried vegetable medley. I like to chop up a bunch of veggies, usually spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, and bell peppers and fry them up well in coconut oil (other good fats would work fine too). You can mix this with rice if you're into that.
A baked sweet potato covered in melted butter and sprinkled with cinnamon is also a good light breakfast.
And fruit on its own (or in addition to other breakfast suggestions) is good too. Sometimes I wake up and all I feel like is an orange or a banana with my cup of tea.
Chocolate is a drug. Its primary psychoactive ingredients are PEA and theobromine, both stimulants. I agree with staying off it for a while, if youve been eating it everyday.
Try making some paleo breakfast cereal - berries, coconut flakes, macadamias or almonds and some homemade almond milk, or some coconut milk. Or if you do dairy, some berries and greek yogurt.
Chocolate can be one of the best superfoods or the worst sugar junk ever. This is a recipe my sister came up with when she felt she needed something sweet. It's not 100% Paleo though since it contains Whey powder
I've posted in on my website: Jazzy Sweet Potato Pumpkin Chia Chocolate Pudding
One way I have been tapering off of sweets is by progressively getting more strict with the quality of products I buy. I only eat raw desserts now... which includes raw chocolate bars. Organic Nectars sells them online.
But I also consume a local raw food makers "Almond Joys", "Peppermint Patties", and "Chocolate Macaroons". They are off the hook.
Actually, that was a total lie.. I'm not trying to taper off of sweets. I love them. NEVER!
But I do only eat raw ones. I think they are better for me, in whatever small way I can justify it. :)
