I've use the capsules, krill oil, and bottles of oil before in the past. All the bottles have been too expensive, and I didn't like the capsule because I would have to take 15-20 pills a day to get all the EPA and DHA I need. Can anyone recommend a good product that won't break the bank?

Try BlueVera softgels – they contain a good amount of EPA (600 mg) and DHA (200 mg). You shouldn’t too much omega-3s – just enough and this is a good daily dose to take. I don’t get any fishy after burps from taking these, but you can freeze fish oil capsules to avoid fishy after burps. |

I use: http://www.vitacost.com/vitacost-norwegian-ultra-dha 500mg DHA, 100mg EPA, 400mg ALA per capsule, and 10IU vit E to stop it going rancid. Cost is only ~7 cent a day. DHA is most easily converted to EPA and vice versa, so these are really good. No fishy taste at all either. |
