Sometimes , when it's 12:00 pm , so luchtime , And I listen a real sad song , it makes me feel some emotions , and if the song is sad , this emotion makes my stomach close so I can't eat.
This means that our mind/brain can be really powerfull and It can determinate every single event of our life... There's a way to control it?
I mean.. in a sad moment, there's a way to stimolate the emotion that we want?
And.. can our brain help us also with the diseases ?
I'd like to see so opinions!
Mindfulness meditation was helpful for me.
It can allow you to experience emotions without being controlled by them.
I love Eckhart Tolle's book 'A New Earth': http://www.amazon.com/New-Earth-Awakening-Lifes-Purpose/dp/0525948023
I used to be VERY emotional when I was younger until I read this book and started getting into the mindset of the ego and how to control my thoughts. I suggest it to anybody who may have some dark feelings within themselves whether it's depression, fighting, internet trolling to feel better, etc. It makes you put aside the petty things... even a sad song like the OP described. It makes you want to rid of everybody in your life that you may view as clutter... you just don't care anymore. You really only care about being happy and not caring about drama, crap, politics, celebrities, goods, etc.
Now when I have somebody approach me with drama trying to fight with me, I have no use for it. I have the ability to not respond, delete texts, not respond to calls, and then clear it from my mind. They are miserable because they are not having their ego fed. I am happy because I just don't care.
And by the way, it's called a "shift in conciousness".
Mindfulness practice, meditation, cognitive-behavioral therapy, Byron Katie's "The Work" . . . there is a long list of possibilities. My favorite? Pathway by Laurel Mellin, actually proven to change neural pathways. It's a simple, but highly effective, self-administered cognitive-behavioral therapy. Try it out!

Introspection, play, daydreaming, all self-teach critical thinking. n=1.
This really is a chemical issue, and not an emotional one. You might be able to fix it with meditation, but likely not.
I think that deep inside we all need a well spiritual balance we talk about food balance and physical balance but we for get the spiritual one in my walk i found that a well balance relationship with the true and only creator of your soul makes all the difference i been hurt i been in rough situations and if it had not been for the real God of heaven and earth,i would not have made it he is the only one that can take your emotions and balance them out.i promise it works just think for a minute he made the body and he said in his word that he is all you want him to be for you. and is free and is not in religion but in a personel relationship.with him love all of you and my prayer is that we all come to that awareness.GOD bless.
Check out the Release Technique by Larry Crane (based off the teachings of Lester Levenson and similar to the Sedona Method). I have been using it for about two months now and have had amazing results. My anxiety and stress are nearly gone and I find myself more comfortable in my own skin. I am relaxed as ever and feel that I have tools to help me deal effectively with new stress and challenges as they arise.
Basically the Release Technique is just a method (actually 3 separate methods, all amazingly simple) that teach you how to release emotions, or in other words how to free yourself from emotional attachment.
I think most people would be surprised at how much they are holding onto (I know I was). We carry around a lot of baggage with us even though we are unaware that we are doing so. The Release Technique helps to dig up any repressed garbage still hanging around and provides a way to get rid of it once and for all. After a few sessions, you will feel lighter and more releaxed.
I have gone through tons of self improvement courses and by far this is the most effective and simplest technique I have ever learned.
