I do leangains 16/8 intermittent fasting, eating at 12pm and 8pm. I don't really have a problem with ravenous hunger in the morning, but have found taking 15g of coconut oil upon rising takes the edge off.
I started doing it because I've read that :
A) coconut oil kick starts ketosis and fat burning
B) blunts hunger
C) does not interrupt the good kind of autophagy that protein and carb would
So D) it's like having the benefits of fasting, remaining in autophagic processes, while giving an extra boost
What are your ideas?
