I'm visiting family that are very non-Paleo. Anyone have suggestions on where I can get pastured eggs/meat and other Paleo friendly options in Snohomish County Washington?

Snohomish Farmers Markets: http://snohomishmarkets.com/

If you feel like taking a drive, you can head up to Skagit River Ranch: http://www.skagitriverranch.com/ It's kind of a hike, but the area the farm is in it beautiful.

And here's the Everett Food Co-op: http://www.snoislefoods.coop/

If you've got your passport with you it's worth a day trip up to Granville Island farmer's market in Vancouver BC. Blueberries are near their peak all over western Washington, and huckleberries have been phenomenal at Lake Quinault. – thhq Aug 8 at 22:43
No need to go that far--just head over to Port Townsend, WA--best Farmer's Market in the State (in my opinion!) – Dragonfly Aug 9 at 3:10

Yes! The Olympic Peninsula is rich with local grass-fed beef, chicken, pork, locally made cheeses, salmon, oysters, and many organic farms. If you head that way, check out chimacumcorner.com – legup Aug 9 at 5:03
...it is a day trip, though. Worth it! – legup Aug 9 at 5:05

Buy a jar of extra small oysters and make a hangtown fry omelet. Gulf people will argue but WA oysters are the best. Also try some good smoked fish, such as Tony's, which also would go well in the omelet.

We have great farmers markets around here like A at Grain Free Diet said.

Puget Consumer's Coop is the best "grocery store" and it is truly local (unlike all the Whole Foods stores that are around) You do not have to be a member.

Happy Now - don't you shop at PCC? – Crowlover Aug 8 at 22:25

I do, but they don't have any further north Snohomish County locations as far as I know, Edmonds would be the closest. – Happy Now Aug 8 at 22:34

PCC is the best grocery store. WHole Foods is also here as is Trader Joes and Costco. I would hit up the farmer markets for sure...
