What do you guys eat during your PSMF? Most of the things I've eaten have tasted like cardboard, but I have a broiled chicken staple that I've made variations of that tastes good!

I cut chicken breasts into large chunks and marinate overnight. I put marinated chicken breasts into a large skillet and broil until a bit of char develops. If the chicken isn't quite done, I'll turn the oven off and leave it in there for a few minutes. Sometimes I make extra marinade, thicken it with gelatin, and use it as a sauce. I also add small amounts of onion, bell pepper, etc., whatever seems to fit.

So far my favorite marinades: 1. Fish/soy sauce, ginger, basil, chiles. 2. A bit of Greek yogurt and curry, served with lemon slices. 3. Saltwater, rosemary, garlic, served with lemon slices. 4. A small amount of bbq sauce.

Other than that, I'll occassionally eat seafood/shellfish with a bit of lemon, and I always have a bit of liver pate (made with Greek yogurt) to keep my vitamins up.

I don't avoid all fat. It makes the results a wee bit slower, but makes the PSMF more sustainable. I just can't hack chicken breasts!

For example, I will eat burgers(drained), poached eggs, poached chicken thighs, liver paté, low sugar homemade "jello" (for gelatin.) Steamed, well salted veggies.

Beef heart is quite lean if you trim it well. Good to get some red meat and not just chicken breast or whitefish. I also like to broil beef heart after I coat it with spices. Garam masala works well for me. I've never done a PSMF, just offering a suggestion based on what I think would work.
