If you are not doing this just lose weight then I say don't resist the sweet craving but embrace it with 'natures candy' - dates
You can even make your own chocolates using diced dates, shredded coconut, cacao and cashew nuts
If you are on it to lose weight then don't lose heart, fruits like raspberries, cranberries and blackberries are generally lower in carbs than other fruits
What I found that really helped me the first few weeks was concentrating on all the yummy foods I could eat that I had always deprived my self
