I am competing in 6 weeks in a fitness competition, and am moving across a body of water in 2 weeks, starting school and a new job (simultaneously). Needless to say, prepping all my meals will be tough, so I was thinking about trying some IF for the last 6 weeks. I have no problem with the Leangains method of 8-16.

I was thinking though, since I like coffee, and also have trouble with getting a certified gluten-free BCAA powder (for fasted training--I can't seem to find the NOW brand anywhere) that I might try bulletproof coffee in the am/before training.

My other two meals, probably post-workout and before bed, would be high protein, low fat and a mix of moderate to low carb. I don't really need low-carb keto, because I have found this detrimental to my training volume and sleep patterns. My carbs will mostly come from fruit and berries, with the occasional sweet potato on leg day or if I need it.

Any thoughts or pieces of advice?

My unqualified two cents...Have you tried carb cycling? I find that I have no problem gettin gto 3% body fat in a matter of weeks when cycling carbs. 4 day cycles of 76-85g, 25-35g, 25-35g, 35-45g, repeat (not counting green vegetable carbs). Carb Cycling takes the monotony out of dieting. Protein between 140-200g for me. CD has good advice advice as well though. – foreveryoung Aug 23 at 22:02
