Semi paleo for 2 years. Grain, sugar, dairy free paleo for 8wks at 90% level. Where is all this feeling great and engery at?

I think of paleo as a lifestyle not a diet. Life in stride, sleep 8ish hours a night, last check blood panel good-checked every 6months, cortisol normal – omatic Aug 25 at 21:52

Eat carbs. That's where the energy's at. VLC only provides adequate energy for people who don't actually DO anything.

I'm not disagreeing per se, but this person could be going hogwild on the potatoes and still be within the boundaries set within the original post. – Matthius Aug 25 at 21:42

Yeah, double bullshit. Lots of endurance athletes find an advantage to VLC. – Diane Aug 25 at 22:54
Who??? The latest keto poster boy, Jimmy Moore, doesn't even exercise anymore - most likely because he CAN'T. – CICO Suave Aug 26 at 6:12

How are your stress levels? Getting enough sleep? Can we see a blood panel? There are so many non-food-related factors involved in determining your overall health that to assume that following a Paleo diet will cure you of your ails is unreasonable.

Paleo is conducive to health, but not necessarily curative.
