Sooooo... I've posted before with my troubles with my diet and they seem to just continue. I've been dabbling in the paleo diet for a few months now and have seen some good improvements. I went low carb to even lower carb (keto -esque) and now have changed back up to about 50g carbs a day. I'm trying to maintain a lower carb diet to maintain a leaner physique since I easily gain and have pcos. I work daily and pack my lunches to which I think are sufficient and healthy. An example would be 150g chicken 1tbsp coconut oil or olive oil 30g avacado 100g broccoli
I eat andmy stomach feels physically full but I feel weird about 10 minutes later. It's so hard to explain. I almost get a bit lethargic...need sugar or something..blood sugar maybe?.... If I chew gum I feel better but it becomes more of an addiction so i am trying to get out of that habbit. I've become more bloated recently and my tummy just won't lean out. I'm starting to slip up on my lifestyle more cause I just don't feel energized and good. I'm getting really discouraged. I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm seeing a naturopath about the pcos and I will bring this to her attention at our next meeting.
I mean I don't want to be ripped like a figure competitor or anything but I do want to be leaner in the stomach. When I stand I have a flat stomach but upon sitting or bending I have a bigger pooch than I would like.
physical stats 5'6 136 pounds ( 2months ago) lean body mass as of 2 months ago 95lbs cals 1500 ish was doing 50% f 35% p 15%c this is my newest macro set.
I don't know....I'm thinking I could potentially have some food allergies/intolerances that I am not aware of... I thought maybe it's a macro imbalance that's why I don't feel comfortable and content after meals.
I definitely need to get a different outlook cause Im starting to crave more sugars and give in a little more than I should lately. I'm also having some bathroom issues. :S
pleaseeee what should I dooooooo????? I feel like it's such a constant battle. I am aware it takes time but with the meals I am eating I just don't feel properly fueled or there is something wrong with me?
ugh... this is post is long. I suck... sorry. I just really needed to vent it out.
ps. I lift 3 x a week and do cardio 2-3x a week
