Hi everyone, hope you are all having a good day today.
Is there a Paleo diet book that is full of recipes? I want to cook low carbs but i don't know where to begin.
Thanks, Denise :)

There are so many! You could start with Practical Paleo, which is basically a complete guidebook for the Paleo lifestyle, and contains recipes as well as masses of useful info. Also: Everyday Paleo/Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook Make It Paleo Paleo Slow Cooking (All available from Amazon) There are also a ton of great paleo cooking blogs, try: http://beta.primal-palate.com/ http://civilizedcavemancooking.com/ These also have Facebook pages. |

IMO the best paleo cook book is Well Fed, it has good info, great recipes with lots of variations and nicely presented. |

MGM summed it up well. I'd like to add though, you don't really need a book but if that's your thing then sure. There are plethora of free awesome resources on the net. http://www.chowstalker.com/ http://pinterest.com/search/boards/?q=paleo http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-blueprint-recipes/#axzz2654Zvd00 http://www.marksdailyapple.com/primal-resource-guide/#axzz2654Zvd00 |

Disclaimer: This is a semi-sales pitch, but I do cook from and enjoy this paleo cookbook... George Bryant & Abel James put out a great e-cookbook, Caveman Feast, so if you have an iPad or KindleFire, you might want to check out their yummies! It is on sale for the next 2 days for $19.95! For that cost, you get the cookbook plus some fitness guidance from Abel James (author of the blog Fat Burning Man). Also, if you buy it through this link, I get a little kick-back. Yes, this is a sales pitch. But I also have this cookbook and use it regularly. If you are curious what kind of recipes are in the cookbook, go to George's blog (The Civilized Caveman) Sorry for all the links, but they are all well worth it. You may want to open them in new tabs. Thanks! |
