out of interest, why do you need more Vit A/what makes you believe that you are lacking Vit A or Vit A deficient? – daz Sep 26 at 3:45
oily skin on face, dry skin on body, dry nasal passages, dry throat – jake Sep 26 at 4:02
that sounds like a hard one to troubleshoot. hope you get to the bottom of it. the only mention of dry body/oily face i could find was here; drrind.com/therapies/metabolic-symptoms-matrix – daz Sep 26 at 6:16

Depends on what it's for and what you're goals are. I'd suggest being prudent as toxicity can be a concern.

Have you considered eating liver or sweet potato? Again, without knowing circumstances of why you want to supplement etc it's difficult to say what you 'should' do...

Is this a self diagnosis? Have your vit A levels tested before deciding that you need to supplement.

Here, near Toronto, I've been taking Carlson (lemon flavoured) fishoil every winter, but now I'm re-thinking everything. I read some older stuff on PH re fish oil/cod liver oil and am looking forward to reading new comments too.
