I easily polish off about a pound of kerrygold butter a week. About half a stick a day. Is this too much? Anything I should be concerned about? I smear it on everything. It's so yummy...

Agreed. Anyone consuming BPC on a daily basis is likely close to that just in coffee. I only go about half on the butter because I like egg whites and coconut oil as well, but still. – KA24 Sep 29 at 2:25
why would you put butter in your coffee – nada Sep 29 at 14:14
@nada - 'BPC' is BulletProof Coffee, high-grade coffee blended with (unsalted) butter and coconut oil for a good healthy kick in the morning – cerement Sep 29 at 21:35
MCT oil instead of coconut oil is like rocket fuel! – PhysiqueRescue Sep 30 at 4:24

I have a local farm that makes their own unsalted butter w/grass-fed cream. It comes in a big 2 or 3 lb roll. I eat it with a spoon. You're fine.

I'm about to poach a wild salmon fillet in a whole stick, 8oz, of KGB. Then I'm gonna throw some chardonnay in the pan to reduce and pour the sauce all over the fillet. Addicted to what? A pound a week? Worried about what? :)

The NY Times ran an article on a 107-year old woman and her secret for a long life. Her answer? "No exercise, eat as much butter as you like and never look backwards." She also likes pork belly and doesn't take any medicine. So enjoy the butter. I personally like mine poured over some oven-baked sweet potato fries and I invite you all to my 107th birthday in 2097.

Holy shit that's a long time from now.
