I did not notice this until I started eating Paleo and now it is driving me crazy. Perhaps I have not been eating sufficient organ meats.

haha. is this serious?! – cbucker Oct 2 at 23:55
Maybe you've got trapped gas in part of your intestines? Are the farts stinky or just noisy? – Nemesis Oct 3 at 0:35

dafuq did I just read?!?!!!! But seriously, this is probably a body symmetry issue, likely some of your joints are not as flexible, or your bones aren't exactly the same size, or you're not performing the motion exactly the same on both sides and it puts pressure on your belly. – raydawg Oct 3 at 10:11

I think PH may have just, officially, jumped the shark. – Dave S. Oct 3 at 11:57

Ok....let me suggest that you repeat the experiment at 9AM, 12PM, 3PM, 6PM, 9PM, 12AM. You must also keep a journal of what you ate and at what time each day (don't forget to include caloric and non-caloric drinks). Do this for a week and we will graph your results for fart to water to food ratio and get you an exact representation to decipher the time, consistency, and volume of your next gastrointesinal extrusion.

+1 for being awesome. I would also recommend a double-blind trial with ample cross sections of the population for control. Submit results to your closest University to get the most awesome pie chart. I would then recommend a blog post with as many statistical terms as possible apart from the standard deviation to determine n. – PhysiqueRescue Oct 3 at 1:51

I'm sorry but I can't resist. This is like the old Vaudeville joke "Doctor, it hurts when I go like this". And the doctor responds "So don't go like that!"

I use it as a test to determine whether my internal organs are resting comfortably within my abdominal cavity. Lately something on the left side of my abdominal cavity isn't quite the same, I don't think it is a digestive issue because I crap like a hippopotamus. – Poop Master MC Oct 2 at 23:49
"crap like a hippopotamus" - I think that may be the source of your problem... – Dave S. Oct 3 at 11:56
