I found a source for wild game bones, however, they don't keep the bones in the fridge. Is it okay to use the bones for broth?

Rotten bone broth does not sound good. – Matt Oct 19 at 23:08

Use your senses. Look at them, smell them. If they're fresh, they won't have much of an odor, you won't see anything fuzzy, or furry on them.

If they've been outside for days, avoid. If it's just a few hours and they look ok, enjoy.

How long have the bones been out? Anything more than a few hours and I'd skip it.

If your source is along the roadside rotting I might skip it.
