I'm looking for some great recommended recipes from everyone, I'm trying to return the favor to some friends who have invited me over for dinner the last few weeks on Sunday after church. Mind you they are not paleo eaters. Thanks everyone.

I may add some specifics below, but I'd like to recommend chowstalker.com for browsing. They have SO MANY OPTIONS, most are simple yet tasty and beautiful, and most of their recipes, even if they aren't under the paleo heading, are paleo or easily adaptable if you just switch out fats or leave off bread crumb toppings. – Varelse Oct 19 at 22:07
Thanks there is some really good looking stuff on there. – Mike Oct 19 at 22:20

Here are some of my favorite and fanciest Primal dishes. (I eat Primal so dairy is included in some of these. If that's a no go for you, coconut milk or what have you would probably do fine).

Salmon Bisque - obviously, use a different fat than canola oil as called for. Other than that, it is fantastic! http://www.anediblemosaic.com/?p=9560

I made this pork tenderloin with zucchini and squash http://hotdinnerhappyhome.blogspot.com/2012/08/herb-rubbed-pork-tenderloin-with.html and served it with a super easy pan sauce with the drippings, some balsamic vinegar and spicy brown mustard with a dash of red wine and let it simmer to thicken just a wee bit (beware the vinegar fumes! they will clear your sinuses, lol!!!) and it was fantastic!

My roommate really adored this sweet potato bleu cheese gratin - http://projects.eveningedge.com/recipes/sweet-potato-cabrales-blue-cheese-gratin/ I'm not huge on sweet potatoes, so this was only okay to me, but it is the only way I have ever consented to eat sweet potatoes so that is really high praise.

These are also fabulous and very impressive! http://ourlifeinfood.com/2012/09/02/salmon-and-crab-cakes-with-avocado/ I just used 2 eggs and skipped the coconut stuff.

Here are my top recipes:

Paleo Salmon Perfect Fillet Mingon Grape, Pear and Spinach Salad

I have gotten lots of compliments on all three of these paleo recipes.

I'd go with protein bars:

Cut grass-fed beef into long rectangles.

Bake.

Serve.
