I have always run pretty hot compared to those around me, but I've noticed recently sometimes I will feel suddenly really cold, and not just superficially so. I have only been Primal for four months after being gluten-free WAPF follower. At the same time, I also adopted a 3x/week intense Venus Index weight training program. At first I thought the random cold feeling was just the change of seasons, but I noticed that it would happen inside a 70 degree house. I have not paid attention enough to comment on whether it is happening only on workout days or if it's before or after meals.

I am scared that I may be doing something that is harming my health...what could this be an indication of? I know it might be a hypothyroid symptom, but I have plenty of energy and as I mentioned, I have always usually felt warmer than others around me. Can low-carb cause hypothyroid symptoms. I estimate I eat 70-100 carbs/day. I also eat plenty of fat.

The only other new things I can think of are D3/K2 and magnesium supplementation.

Has anyone had this happen to them or have any ideas about what it could be?

Do you fast or do a small eating window? I find out if I go for too long without eating I will feel very cold, sometimes shivery, as well as jittery. – Varelse Oct 20 at 2:46
I eat all my food in a nine hour window (10:00 am -7:00 pm), but it doesn't feel like fasting because I am not hungry outside of it. – tbunchylulu Oct 20 at 10:26
