As I love to eat fruit salad consisting of something like 1 Kiwi, 1/2 Mango, 1 wild peach nuts (brazil nuts, almonds or walnuts) and coconut rasps one time per day I'd like to when the best time for this meal is.
Usually I get up at 6am, have my breakfast and I'll leave at 6:45. Between breakfast and lunch I will snack lots of green veggie and an apple. I'll then come back from school between 3pm and 5pm and have some lunch. I will then leave again at 5:30 to hit the gym for 1 hour of lifting weights and one hour of kickboxing. Then around 8 I'll have dinner. When I started with the paleo diet I had my fruit salad for breakfast but then after a couple of weeks I switched it to my post-workout meal/dinner. I would then have a small amount of meat and fish for breakfast and a lot of meat with veggies for lunch. But I can't see me benefiting from the cabs at 8pm - 2 hours before I go to bed. Wouldn't it be better to have them before/ during school where I have to concentrate?

It depends on what purpose you want the carbs to fulfill. If you are generally running your metabolism on glucose, then you will need carbs all day long. Most paleos prefer relying on fat-burning or at least metabolic flexibility between the two.
That said, carbs are useful prior to long endurance exercise to enable better performance (of course, long endurance exercise is not very paleo). Carbs are also useful aftre an intense workout (HIIT/sprints/heavy lifting) in order to replenish glycogen (both liver and muscle).
Finally, carbs in the evening (say with dinner) can increase seratonin and help with sleep (if you aren't sleeping well). Carbs at breakfast without a workout in mind, would tend to make you sleepy - not really a great idea. But if it works for you, then it's not really a problem.
The absolute best time for eating carbs is when you are young. I am always amazed to see that the body of a youth can suffer almost any insult and continue growing and functioning and putting out hormones galore. I envy the way their bodies work. Many years down the line, this continued abuse will eventually take its toll.
Have you seen what kids are eating (and drinking) these days? Amazing.
I've done numerous n=1 experiments and in my case the timing doesn't matter but I don't do well eating carbs by themselves. My blood glucose, satiation and post-meal energy levels all do best when carbs are part of a meal that also includes fatty meat. I also do best if my vegetable ratio is about 3/4 non-starchy to 1/4 starchy.
I tend to eat one meal per day at any time from first thing in the morning to 3 pm; I normally don't eat after 4.
