Hi PaleoHackers,

As some of you may know, I am a big fan of Paleo and launching my new book later this month, The 4-Hour Chef.

Patrik and I were chatting the other day, and he suggested that we have some fun, and that I involve the PaleoHacks community and pose this question to you guys.

If you could become world-class in anything in 2013, what would it be? If you had a gun against your head, how would you approach it?

Give me your best answer in 300 words or less and the winner will get a 20 minute call with me to talk about anything they like: Paleo, blood testing, performance enhancement (chemical, dietary, or otherwise), or simply accelerated learning hacks.

Whatever goes.

I would learn to play and become a world class basset horn player... which would bring most listeners to tears.

If I had a gun to my head I would first, pee. Then I would try to gently hum the melody to "Whoever You Are" by the Brian Jonestown Massacre because that song always cheers me up and maybe it would cheer up my homicidal friend as well.

I teach Third Grade...

I want to be world class at having my students' eyes opened up to the wonderful world of learning. piquing a students' curiosity is one of the greatest feelings and helps inspire me.

I want a clan full of wide eyed learners ready to tackle the world.

I want to be world class at opening their eyes!

Thanks Tim, love your stuff!

Not sure if it is too late to answer this? I am nationally ranked long range shooter. I am on the US Rifle Team. I felt I was very fortunate if not lucky to make the rapid progree that I did in only acouple of years. 2011 brought me a natinal civilain record and a couple of championships. But I have come to a stand still. I still want to win the US Nationals at Camp Perry. I have done well but not a win. I need to break through this wall. I know I can win but need a shift in my mental game. Anette - aka 30CalGal

I would want to deconstruct ice dancing the way that Tim deconstructed tango.

I started figure skating at the age of 30, and took it fairly seriously for the first two years, training far more than most other adult skaters, and even did a few adult competitions.

But I'd like to truly deconstruct ice dance, and use that deconstruction to acquire the "top 5 percenter" skill set within 6 months of skating full time, at the level of an Olympic athlete. That would be awesome sauce!

I would like to be a world class brand consultant. I would love to challenge the status quo for the better and make relevant unique brands for companies that earn them money and lots of love from consumers.

Without a gun on my head:

1) I will make a solid 2013 goal sheet with plan of action 2) Prepare for some safety net financially to carry me for atleast six months 3) Surround myself with breakthrough work from the world of marketing and brands, read articles from established brand gurus

With a gun on my head: 1) Quit my current job that is not aligned to my interests 2) Approach clients for work 3) Be persistent enough
