I am a 24 year old female, 1.68 meters, and currently weigh 64 kg.
I started the Paleo diet on Sept. 4, 11 days ago, and at the same time, I sarted doing CrossFit 3x a week (yesterday I completed my 5th class, not counting the 3 introductory ones).
On the first week of Paleo, I lost 2 kg right off the bat. I went from 66.5 kg to 64.5 kg.
Now that I am on week two, I haven't lost a single gram! I am still the same weight since almost a week.
What am I doing wrong?
I am following the paleo diet strictly. I am sticking to only meats and veggies, very little olive oil and salt.
My food log goes like this:
Breakfast: Two egg whites scrambled and 1/2 a cup of home made fruit juice sugar free
Mid morning: hard boiled egg (without salt)
Lunch: Any meat with veggies (raw and cooked), a little olive oil and salt
Dinner: Meat with veggies
I was eating a cup and a half of fruit every morning, and now, since yesterday, I have started to eat egg whites instead with just half a cup of papaya and strawberry juice. I am hoping that makes a difference.
Any other suggestion? I have about 4 kgs to go, and it is frustrating to see the scale stay still for almost a week!
Eat the whole egg and add some more fat all the way around. You're also much better off eating your fruit, not drinking it.
Personally, I'd put that scale away for awhile. Since muscle weighs more than fat, the scale can be deceptive and discouraging. Notice how you feel and how your clothes fit, instead.
eat more... eat the egg yolks! instead of drinking fruit juice eat the fruit.
also if your crossfitting you might be retaining some water if you haven't lifted before.
as a reference... im 5'5, 142 lbs and 31 years old. i crossfit 4x a week and eat 1900-2200 paleo calories a day and am still losing inches (not weight) like mad. fat is good.
i would suggest myfitnesspal.com to track your macros and aim for high fat- 50% or above, 35% protein, and the rest carbs.
Cut the fruit, that's way to much fruit. Especially the "sugar free" fruit juice. That's the evil. And yes eat the egg yolks.

First of all, you are losing weight on paleo!! You lost several lbs in the first week. That's great!!
On virtually any weight loss endeavor, it is quite common to lose quickly in the first few days or week or so, and then have a resting period, where you body sort of adjusts. I think this is especially true for women. :)
Roughly translating to US height and weight, it doesn't seem like you have a ton to lose anyway, so you can't expect to necessarily lose at a fast rate.
Try not to concentrate so much on the scale...more importantly, how are you feeling? Any bothersome symptoms better at all? Maybe your clothes are fitting a little bit better?
And then some tips on your eating...I'd say to drop the fruit for now, if you want to lose weight. Especially fruit juice!!
Also, unless you have a problem/intolerance with egg yolks...go for the whole egg at breakfast, even more than one! And scramble them in something paleo-friendly like coconut oil, nitrite-free bacon fat, or grass fed butter. Same with your meat and veggies the rest of the day. Fat (the good paleo healthy kind) is your friend!!

You are doing fine and these suggestions are great. Being patient is so important, as is sleep, drinking more water. I would agree drop the fruit for a bit and congrats on a great lifestyle change.
It's been said many times by other PH members, Paleo is not a weight loss miracle. For some it is, but for a large majority it's not. For me, I do low/lower carb to lose weight while eating Paleo. But, that's what works for "me" (lost 75 lbs to date and have upped my carbs to 100 to 150 grams and have stalled my weight loss, no biggie because I know how to fix that).
I do agree with the "more fat" comment. Try it (and don't overdue the protein intake!!).
MORE FAT! Skrew egg whites only, those have no nutrients, eat the yolks. Salt your food, if you are exercising like that you are losing minerals and don't want to drop your blood pressure too low. Eat your fruit instead of drinking it. Try and include organ meats instead of just muscle meat- if you can't handle organ meats, you should add more yolks for missing nutrients. Try some fermented food, like kefir or saurkraut.
THROW OUT THE SCALE FOR AT LEAST A MONTH. You're going to be looking at water weight dropping on/off, muscle gains, and monthly fluctuations with your cycle. It will be a psychological battle. Go by how you feel in your clothes, how you look, and if you must have something metric go by waist/hip measurements.

I'm going to lower my carbs and see what happens. I am new to paleo. Do you guys count calories and try to create calorie deficits? Would it be a good idea to create a calorie deficit if you're trying to lose weight? And how long does it take for the body to start using fat as it's primary source of fuel? i love this new way of eating. Don't miss the grain dairy legumes AT all.
