I just bought myself some macadamia oil since my taste buds wanted a change from the coconut-y taste of coconut oil. I'm wondering if any one knows of anything that tastes superb with macadamia oil. Has any one tried cooking eggs with it; I usually have eggs with fat or butter, but I'm trying to add a little vegan to my paleo diet.

I've never used it, but have been wanting to try it. I've heard it's great for homemade salad dressings/vinaigrette. – Amy B. Dec 19 at 18:05

I use it a lot for baked goods with almond flour and pan frying fish and chicken. It's delicious! Also great for making your own (cheaper) mac butter: Put mac nuts and mac oil in food processor. Mac nuts don't get quite butter-y enough on their own in the food processor.

Anything! I always go half butter/half macadamia nut oil when I roast things. These include butternut squash, yams, beets, carrots, etc. The butter pairs very well with macadamia, they have a very similar "buttery" flavor. And I haven't tried cooking eggs in it yet, I always use coconut oil for eggs.

Excellent mayonnaise and salad dressings. Great for baking and great for roasting meat.

I don't like the taste with eggs, but I don't like eggs with olive or coconut oil either.

I love using it for kale chips (with sea salt or a made up spice mix of your choosing) and also for cooking the occasional batch of coconut flour pancakes in.
