Hi,
So I have been avoiding grains except for the occasional white rice which doesn't bother me. I know I feel worlds better being grain-free so am not looking back.
I recently discovered these little baninis that a local raw food restaurant makes. They are made with all organic ingredients, the main one being sprouted buckwheat.
I also discovered a raw cereal that is made with sprouted buckwheat as well. I've been eating both of these things fairly regularly over the last few weeks and they don't cause any digestive distress.
I really like the sense of fullness I get when I eat it, and I also think there is a lot of fiber from it that I think I could use.
I'm inclined to just eat as I really feel good when I do- same thing with white rice and quinoa. They never make me feel bed, quite the opposite actually and I like the idea of having some variety other than simply meat, potatoes and veggies/berries....
Thoughts? Does anyone else eat it?
Thanks!
