After you make stock from chicken feet, do you have any chicken feet left, or does it all dissolve in the stock?
I looked at some recipes like these, but they dont mention anything about what to do with the feet after you make the stock?
I throw them away like other bones I can no longer use. I tried nibbling on one - but it does not taste good.
However, in many cultures they are a treat. In Korea they fry them with hot sauce and eat them - but I do not know the recipe, sorry.
If you cannot stomach to eat the mushy chicken scraps after making stock, turn it into pet food. Big dogs can just eat it as is because the bones are so soft. You can also throw everything into a vitamix (or other good blender) to make it like canned wet food for smaller animals. And yes... at the very least compost it. To just throw it away would be a shame.
