My husband took Propecia for only 3 months, however, the sexual side effects don't seem to be reversing... he's not entirely Paleo, but he is GF. Any thoughts on an optimum version of Paleo to restore male hormone balances?

It is unknown if the sexual side effects of Propecia (finasteride) are even reversible.

I would do two things: SEE YOUR DOCTOR. Then, I would SEE YOUR DOCTOR.

A strict paleo diet (not just GF) and a healthy physical activity routine should help support healthy hormone levels, but in his case, it may not be enough.

His doctor told him "minimal side effects, very safe drug" so I'm a little relunctant to go to him again (although I know, other doctors). I'm hoping this is temporary (been only a week so far), but he's normally insanely healthy. I can't advise enough: NO ONE should be taking this crap! FYI, his doctor put him on 1 MG to start, and in doing a lot of research now, this is much higher than the recommended daily dose of .5 MG. :\ (praying this is temporary...) – Neko1717 Jan 17 at 21:17
