I am a 55 year old women, been eating Paleo for about nine months, I have about 7-10 lbs to loose yet, 5' 115 lbs. I walk 3-5 miles every day, lift weights 5 days a week, I think I am very careful of what I eat, I need help.. IF does not work for me, it seems I am hungry all the time,????
I am 50. IF unfortunately makes me gain weight even if I keep my calories constant, so I gave up trying.
Everyone is different, obviously, but I never would have gotten rid of the last 5 lbs w/o counting calories. So long as I keep pretty active and minimize the time I spend sitting (I have found that to be more important for weight than how much I exercise, although I do exercise) I can eat a fair number of calories -- when I need to lose weight, just knocking off 100 calories a day works pretty well for me.
I also did a lot of experimenting with arranging my fat and protein intake so that I could totally give up snacking, which really seems to help as well.
IMO, you are exercising too much. Why are you weightlifting so many days? I am 44, and 2-3 days a week is enough, although I walk as much as you do. Your body may be holding on to the weight in self-defense, stressing your body will not help. That's also why IF doesn't help and you're hungry all the time. I would think.
Cut back for a bit, get more rest, and see if that helps.
