This person is in the bay area and may be able to help. I don't know him personally in any way. |

Dr. Lorenzato at Mariner Medical Center in Foster City actually recommended the paleo diet to me a couple years ago. He talked to me like I was an intelligent human and answered my questions. He'll run bloodwork, too. Highly recommended. |

What kind of doctor? I know a naturopath in Berkeley who can possibly help with some things- do you need blood work, etc.? |

This group of family practice physicians are great - they do not accept insurance, but will provide a superbill for you: http://www.wholefamilymd.org/index.php. All of them are great and are trained in traditional, osteopathic, and other alternative methods. |

I go to Dr. Swan at http://www.wholefamilymd.org/index.php and I really like her. I believe she is a pretty non-judgmental vegetarian herself. This guy http://www.wholefamilymd.org/index.php Thomas Cowan is a big wig in the Weston A Price scene and I've heard good things about him. |

Check out Dr. Paul Abramson at My Doctor Medical Group: http://mydoctorsf.com. He's Paleo-friendly and has even presented data from his own personal Paleo experiments at a Quantified Self meetup. |
