I'm too lazy to read through all Nikolay's posts. Why does he have beef with Melissa McEwen?
Does this turn you off of the Free the Animal blog?
I don't think we should be discussing this - it is not really a Paleo topic, more like personalities...
Anyway, some people are just naturally rude (maybe they have nutritional deficiencies or low in iron) and become Internet bullies. Which is not nice.
If you don't like the topic/idea/person - just watch/read something else, don't make nasty comments about it. Okay, if you want to make nasty comments - hide them so nobody can see them or something.
I have looked at Nikolay's blog - it is not something I would be interested in following.
The best way to deal with bullies is not to deal with them. Isolate them and ignore them. There are too many wonderful people in this world to spend your time on Internet bullies. Life is bigger than this.
I was turned off of Free the Animal long before this. If there were a Paleo version of Durian Rider, Nikolay would be it. Obviously nobody is as bad as Durian Rider at ANYTHING, but Nikolay seems to be trying.
I can't read Free the Animal, because it's full of rudeness and vitriol. But what does it matter? Richard has readers who clearly like his style, and the rest of us can go elsewhere.
Some months ago when I was figuring out what paleo bloggers to follow, I notice this issue: paleo drama!! He seems to be the bully type, that if you don't agree with him he becomes all mean and disrespectful. So not cool. He tends to lash out against women solely so make up your own mind what that's about. There are some bloggers out there whose style I don't like. http://www.bulletproofexec.com for instance wrote a very untactful post regarding the health and food choices about Michael Clarke Duncan when he died. It was such a turn off for me that I unfollowed him immediately. People shouldn't jump to conclusions regarding someone's health or cause of death and definitely not when promoting their own products. that is just beyond tacky.
