I just got "The Diet Cure" by Julia Ross in the hopes of seeing if I can lose my desire for an occasional afternoon sweet. There is an extensive questionnaire at the beginning to try to pinpoint the source of one's cravings to then be able to find the best supplement to address that craving. Mine seems to be an endorphin issue (symptoms that apply: eating food for the enjoyment of it and over-exercising) for which the prescribed amino acid is DL-phenylalanine or DLPL.
Has anyone used this for anything and did you experience any effects good or bad? Has anyone taken this questionnaire, tried the recommended supplement and lost their cravings?
Hi, I am using her Comfort Zone blend. I get cravings for chocolate. I still have them! But I feel good, too. It's made a difference. I recommend trying them. I'm still experimenting, recently started taking her amino blend for just plain more aminos.
