I've been finding that I'm thriving on a small eating window of 6-10 pm every day, and thus fasting for 20 hours between 10pm and 6pm the next day.
Now and then I have lunch or an early dinner, so I'm not doing this 7 days a week. However, at some point this no longer becomes "intermittent."
That's fine. Some people (like me) do that. Take a look at the "Fast-5 Diet" and "The Warrior Diet".
Personally, I eat only one meal per day, at about 7:30-8:00, 6 days a week. On Saturday, I give myself a "rest day" and end up eating two meals
I think what you are asking is "If I am fasting most every day until my one late meal, then when does this constant practice cease being called "intermittent".
If you are asking this, then it is always going to be intermittent fasting, because intermittent here refers to you not fasting for days-and-days on end.
That would be extended fasting.
