I'm very excited that he is back, and his sense of humor is 'sharper'.

Hit http://www.thelivinlowcarbshow.com/shownotes/2930/carbsmart-presents-dr-kurt-harris-on-best-of-2010-encore-week-4-episode-432/ and hear him describe what is happening in his world. Really cool overview and discussion.

Hey, what else are you finding exciting in this new year?

Listened to the interview last night. It was great. I'm glad Dr. Harris is taking a new route with his blog. – Chickenosaurus Rex Jan 10 2011 at 19:41

I have no one to really connect with in real life about this nutrition and fitness stuff. I really want to use this year to change that.

Dallas & Melissa from Whole 9 will be in my area this month. I am hoping to have the extra money to go listen to them.

MovNat has a Chicago seminar in May. I am totally saving up for that one.

I desperately want to go to the Ancestral Health Symposium in August. My plan is to make that my 40th birthday present to myself.

I also got a ton of books at Christmas that I need to read.

Good Calories, Bad Calories - Gary Taubes

Why We Get Fat - Gary Taubes

The New Evolution Diet - Art Devany

Primal Body, Primal Mind - Nora Gedgaudas

When I get excited about something I want to know EVERYTHING immediately. I am a mom, with a full time outside the house job, though - so I just can't do everything I want to as quick as I want to.

I hear you about wanting to dig in and get to know the subject well. I have small kids and I'm in school full-time, so I don't always get to read as many books, articles, or blogs as I would like to. I set aside an hour or so each day for it and that has helped. – Chickenosaurus Rex Jan 10 2011 at 19:45

Dr. Harris also updated his Get Started guidelines and his description of his recommendations. I now know I eat a pastoral diet! I much appreciate the new direction of Dr. Harris' blog. I"m really looking forward to what he next writes.

I also found the pastoralism part interesting. Makes me feel a little better about my dairy consumption :). Heavy cream is my favorite food.

Mari, it is a nice name, isn't it? Some of us do like our butter, cream and very high fat yoghurt. His blog has a calm, smooth feel to the direction now. It's lovely. – PaleoGran Jan 10 2011 at 20:52
I agree with you on all counts. Very very glad he is back. – mari Jan 10 2011 at 21:58
