As far as I understand, krill oil is the best type of sea oil. However I'm at a loss to which one to take, and how much is it?
(WAS NOT ADVERTISING, GEEZE LOL) I thought it was the best type? If not, enlighten me.
I've been taking the Everest Nutrition brand. I just take the recommended dose on the bottle. I think it is better than fish oil because the phospholipids keep the Omega-3s from going bad, both in the bottle and in you. I had a bad bottle of Carlson's fish oil once- I think it was during a really hot summer, and the bottle probably got stuck in the heat somewhere.
The astaxanthin is also supposed to be pretty good for you to, so when I decided to try krill oil, I looked for a brand that actually kept it in there. Some of these companies appear to be taking it out and making it it's own product, and I don't like that much. I like a 'whole food' approach, even with my supplements.
I posted this in another PH question-not totally Krill but a good product:
Personally I don't mind spending the money if it is a quality product.
In a couple years, Krill and most cod and salmon oils will be so filled with nuclear cesium that it will be unhealthy to eat.
