I'm loving vermontgrassfedbeef.com; they have 100% grassfed beef, and they also sell pork, goat, chicken, and some lamb. Best prices I've seen!

I like the US Wellness. They have very good, healthy franks, liverwursts, cheesehead and various offal products. Their shipping is very fast, comes frozen and carefully packed. I've never bought their fresh meat though, so can't comment on that.

I love US Wellness meats too. I've been buying from them for years and never had a problem and the stuff is great. – Shari Bambino Feb 21 2011 at 22:19
They are not bad, and if you can catch a nice coupon code they are not too pricey. Flavorwise, though, they seem unimpressive compared to some other grass-fed beeves I've had. – Harfatum Oct 25 at 2:32

I buy locally from Baucom's Best. It's a family owned operation and they'll ship. They're great.

They have pastured chicken too.

Thanks for sharing this; their chicken prices look great! – Jules K Jan 15 2011 at 22:50

I just added http://www.texasgrassfedbeef.com to my favorites. Nice selection. The prices might be better here: http://www.flyingcowgirls.com but less choices.

I tried the vermontgrassfedbeef.com site twice and had problems with shipping twice. Never received a tracking number when the orders were shipped until I both emailed and called to request one. Never received the second order because it was sent to an incorrect address. The prices are good, however I would proceed with caution unless you are OK with putting up with a hassle on every order.

Good point- my first order with them did end up coming late- I think they forgot about me :( My second order was a big one, and everything did go well. – Jules K Feb 21 2011 at 18:22
Wow, it looks like the have some very good prices. How is there meat? Does it taste good? I ordered from slankers and the bulk order was pretty cheap but shipping made it very expensive. US Wellness is a bit more expensive but the ship next day for only 7 bucks. – rob Feb 21 2011 at 19:30

I like http://www.texasgrassfedbeef.com

Thanks! This place is less than 200 miles from me. I could probably go pick the meat up for less than shipping cost. – eakthekat Feb 21 2011 at 19:46

Has anyone tried the grass fed beef from tropicaltraditions.com? Their big selling point on their website is that they use a unique breed of cattle. (Galloway)

I havent tried the beef yet, but the coco-fed eggs are top notch. – Todd May 26 2011 at 21:22

Try http://www.LogicMeatLocker.com

They run specials all the time, just look for a coupon code. The latest one I found was for the Crossfit Games. It's CFGAMES2012 for 10% off the entire order.

Not sure there is a best place, but ViJuvenate Beef offers a good value on larger orders in particular: http://www.vijuvenate.com/c-grass-fed-beef.html

We have ordered from Slankers grass-fed meat at http://www.texasgrassfedbeef.com. The orders arrived in perfect condition. The meat has been delicious. We have tried their beef Porterhouse, 90/10 hamburger patties, whole chicken, lamb chops, pork chops and their Heritage Turkey made our Thanksgiving meal extra delicious.

Highly recommended.

If you have a Costco membership, they have the following packs of GF beef, including shipping:

Apart from that, I get my GF beef online at La Cense Beef, a Montana ranch.

I have been researching a source for 100% grass fed beef and bought a lot of meat from many places. What I have found is that Teton Waters Ranch Grass Fed Beef has the BEST premium grass fed beef available online. they offer free shipping on all orders over 150 bucks too. What makes them great is that they subscribe to all natural beef ie NO HORMONES, NO STEROIDS, NO ANTIBIOTICS. nuff said

Try Topline Foods. My family has been buying from them for 3 years now. They sell organic grass fed beef, organic chicken, wild caught seafood, pasture raised pork and more. They ship nationwide but if you are in the western U.S., the shipping is especially affordable. Everything comes hand packed in a cooler with dry ice so it always arrives frozen and their customer service is great, I always get an email to confirm the delivery date before they ship and then get a UPS tracking email, too.

They also have a "Paleo Diet Approved" category to make shopping super easy. Nothing has antibiotics, added hormones or growth promotants. The beef is from family owned ranches in the Pacific Northwest where grass is naturally abundant. And, their prices seem to be lower than some of the others listed here.

Hi. Check out www.eatwild.com for a comprehensive listing of grass-fed beef and lamb, etc around the U.S.

I also sell 100% grass fed beef online at www.brandonnaturalbeef. We are located in the SF Bay Area. We source our beef from the Colorado Wet Mountain Valley which is an amazing place for cattle as they graze at 8,000 feet. There are lots of wonderful sources of 100% grass fed beef in the U.S. Sadly, Safeway and Trader Joe's are sourcing from New Zealand and Australia. Our cattle, here, are raised seasonally. The big box stores can't seem to handle "seasonal" meat products.
