Just got a bunch of them from hubby's business trip in Indonesia. They're also called bogor peanuts, but don't taste like peanuts at all.
Other than this wikipedia article, I can't find much nutritional information about it.
I think I have eaten them before. A Nigerian friend made groundnut (not peanut groundnut, she said it was the "other kind of groundnut") stew with pilau. DELICIOUS. Tasted a little bit like boiled peanuts but with a more mushroomy, earthy taste.
As a legume... not Paleo. But screw that, eat up. Obviously you're not going to be making them a staple!
