I just wanted to let people know that at http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2013/03/30/grazing-livestock.aspx?e_cid=20130330_DNL_art_1&utm_source=dnl&utm_medium=email&utm_content=art1&utm_campaign=20130330 there is a wonderful and amazing TED talk by Allan Savory explaining that grazing livestock in herds, as nature does, reverses desertification and, so he argues, if done widely enough worldwide could reverse global warming. It strikes me as an excellent reply to vegetarian arguments about a globally sustainable diet.
