I'm thinking of buying a brita water filter tomorrow...But are they really any good?
I'v heard mixed reviews as to wether it actually makes a difference in taste/health benefits?
Opinions please!! :)
I personally could not find a filter that removed 100% of everything (fluoride, lead, etc) and that did not need to have filters changed all the time. I even bought 2 Culligan systems only to find one was defective from the start (I only found that out by having the water tested at a lab). So I drink distilled water instead. It's 100% pure. I often add fresh juiced vege juice to my water to make my own "smart water"!
Check out the related questions on the right side of this Q&A page. This issue's been well-covered. Personally, I've used a 4-stage R.O. filter for tap water for a decade. If I lived in my own home, I'd put in a whole-house R.O. system.
