Next week i am introducing a small amount of carbs to my diet. They will be eaten post workout only!
What do you recommend as a good source of carbohydrate after a workout?
I know there is lots of options but i want something which is ideally quick and easy to make/prepare as i workout before work!
Medjool dates = candy, definitely awesome.
I prefer sweet potatoes...wrap one in tin foil and bring it to the gym, eat it with my shake. I bake a bunch at the beginning of the week, sprinkle cinnamon, wrap individually in foil and makes it easy for the entire week.

Hmmm Sweet Potato (Homer Simpson voice) I eat .5 lb of sweet potato with .5 tablespoon of pasture butter post workout only. It has dramatically improved my ability to recover and perform. I love eating them so much they are honestly a big reason why I go to bootcamo 4 days a week at 5:39 am to 6:39 am :D
As many others have mentioned, sweet potatoes are probably the safest bet. If you tolerate it well, than white rice is definitely an option. I've been experimenting with waxy maize somewhat lately as well and it could be something you want to look into. In regards to the dates, that is a LOT of fructose and it is very easy to down an entire bag of them with no problem, tread lightly.
