LMAO! I've wondered about this too! What other biological benefit could hair loss provide? There does seem to be some diffs between races in types of balding styles, hair thickness, hair density, etc. But most races have some that go bald and others that don't. But why and why do women rarely go bald? Is it because we also have lighter skin than men and so have less need of it as we age? Also of interest are the American Indian native population which supposedly simply do not go bald. Come to think of it, I have myself never seen a balding american native and they are relatively populous in my area. They also tend to have very thick hair in general. Average hair barettes are often too small to contain the hair of many native women. These people are mostly all eating SAD now like the rest of the populace so I can only guess their hair is genetic and not food related. From a sociological perspective, perhaps one benefit might be to mark older men as older and perhaps less attractive to females and less likely to breed. (sorry guys..) |

@ eva uhm, sorry that is really not true, there are several prominent American Indian actors who have Intial hairloss. I think the main difference between asians (who can lose their hair after eating american diets)& Americans Indians compared to whites and blacks is that the aforementioned both have higher levels of testosterone throughout there lives. well, I know alot of people going bald, male and female who are in their early 20s. some of them i went to highschool with. |

Hi there, Well there are many vitamins that can help in reducing hair loss and ensuring your hair remains healthy, hydrated and strong. The modern lifestyle usually involves doing mostly indoor activities and so you don't get enough sunlight which is an excellent source of vitamin D. In order to get perfect source of vitamin D, the body needs cholesterol. If you don't get enough fatty acids, especially the essential ones, your body can't produce its own 'D' vitamins. This will result to a deficiency. Psoriasis and flaky scalp are some of the effects of this deficiency. However, in case of excessive hair loss it is recommended to seek advice from a physician or you could consult Dr. Cole, who is a highly regarded professional in this field. He would definitely be able to identify and remedy the problem. |
