I just overate almonds -- ARGH! Since the Omega are off with all nuts -- when youover indulge-- do you take fish oils?

If you ate almonds frequently it might be different, but overeating them once in awhile? I say don't worry about it...no need to get that granular about things. |

Any time you consume things which put your o6/o3 ratios out of whack, it's a good idea to supplement some fish oil. This can be when you eat food fried with seed oils, too many nuts or even beef which is not grass fed. |

If you over ate them two or three (or more) times a week, it would be problem. But, if you rarely do it, I don't think you need to do anything - except think about why you over ate them. |

When I eat a bunch of nuts, I'll usually try to take a pill of fish oil or two. Especially with almonds because their omega 3:6 ratio is the worst of all the nuts. I try to stick to Loren Cordain's advise on nuts and eat mostly those with better omega 3:6 ratios (walnuts and macadamias have the best omega ratio), and to limit the amount of nuts I eat per day to about 4oz. |
