Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, would you recommend? If wouldnt recommend do you have any other doctors or protocols you'd advocate?
(I already eat almost 100% organic Paleo for over a year with all food allergens taken out, 9 hours of sleep, Strong Lifts, vitamin D3, probiotics, kelp, vitamin K, Natural Calm and a DHEA cream that is not cascading into estrogen)
I use bioidentical hormones from Dr. Edward Pearson. $500 for a saliva test and the 'script is around $50/mo. Not paleo but I have to think it's safer and more effective than Poliquin's protocol.
Some of what Poliquin suggests can clearly help raise testosterone - ALA (alpha lypoic acid) being one of the better ones on his list. But I feel he is wrong in dosing licorice and pantathine, which both encourage cortisol production. Cortisol is catabolic to testosterone (reduces its levels).
This protocol looks suprisingly similar to hat Rob Wolff just did... check it out
Looks good to me. Might try it myself as I have low test. Minus the DHEA and melatonin though.
