NED: Can someone explain Art De Vany’s stance on fat?
I know this is probably an old topic around here, but I am fairly new to paleo and reading as much as I can, from both book and blog sources. My wife bought me Art Devany's latest, and I'm enjoying it a great deal, but then I see him recommending chicken breast, and lean ground beef, and finally last night came across the phrase, "...of course, avoiding butter and lard goes without saying." It does? I know...there are different camps and different ways of thinking, but it's just curious to me that Devany and someone like, say, Dr. Harris can be so aligned on most points, and then polar opposites on others. Is the science here fuzzy and hard to intepret, or is one of them just considered flat wrong in the paleo sphere?
